With the exponential trade disruptions between the US-China trade war, Covid-19, supply chain disruptions, Russia's war with Ukraine, and dueling sanctions and export controls, there is a deep rupture in the free-market democracies and it is dividing global economic activity into geopolitical fault lines. Fragmentation is going to stay and we should expect to continue to see reorganized globalization and price increases.
